What is Henna?

Scientific Name: Lawsonia Inermis

Henna is a tropical shrub that is native to Northern Africa, Asia and Australia.

It is known for the reddish-brown dye that is taken from the leaves.

Crushed henna leaves have been widely used to naturally colour hair.

What is Indigo?

Scientific name: Phyllanthus Emblica

Amla, also known as the Indian Gooseberry, is a natural coolant and it has been used in Ayurvedic hair care for centuries.

Amla is rich in vitamin C, tannins, phosphorus, Iron and calcium.

Anecdotal reports suggest that it conditions the scalp, improves the tone of henna hair dyes and boosts hair volume.

What is Amla?

Scientific name: Indigofera Tinctoria

The Indigo plant is also native to tropical locations around the world.

Indigo is famous for the beautiful purple flowers that it grows.

It is also known for the blue colours taken from the plant leaves to create natural dyes.
